Fine / Small Motor

Children 1-3 months generally are able to do the following:

Fine Motor:

• Retains hold of object/rattle 
• Opens and shuts hands 
• Moves both arms toward toy in midline 
• Grasps toys/small objects when placed in palm 
• Holds fists open/partially open when awake
