Adaptive

Children 24-30 months generally are able to do the following:

  • Opens door by rotating door knob 
  • Falls asleep and stays asleep for predictable periods 
  • Performs simple dressing tasks independently but may get frustrated (e.g., pulls down pants, puts on coat or shirt, puts on shoes) 
  • Begins to indicate toileting needs during the day 
  • Uses spoon, fork and open cup 
  • Begins to remember rules across environments (e.g., using walking feet at home and at school)
