Math

Children 24-30 months generally are able to do the following:

  • Completes 3-4 piece puzzle with either nesting or interlocking pieces
  • Understands the concept of more or less (e.g., adding food to their plate).
  • Places correct shape in shape sorter most of the time
  • Says numbers out of order as they  pretend to count 
  • Matches two like objects together (e.g., two halves of an animal or different types of winter gear)
  • Holds up fingers to show age in imitation of an adult
