Fine / Small Motor
Children 3-8 months generally are able to do the following:
Fine Motor:
- Transfers objects from hand to hand
- Uses raking grasp (not pincer)
- Holds object placed in hand for sustained period
- Moves both arms toward toy in midline (center of body)
- Visually tracks toy or object in a circle
- Waves toy around when in grasp
- Picks up small toys with one hand
