Children 30-36 months generally are able to do the following:

  • Takes care of some personal needs by themselves like pulling pants down, indicating toileting needs
  • Eats with a spoon and fork, and drinking from an open cup
  • Wipes nose with adult support
  • Unbuttons large buttons 
  • Shows pride in doing things independently
  • Follow and remember safety rules across environments (e.g., holds hands when crossing the street)
