Children 36-42 months generally are able to do the following:
- Begins to transition from whole arm movements to using more refined wrist and finger movements to grasp a crayon or utensil
- Imitates lines and circles when modeled for them
- Learns to snip and cut forward with scissors
- Pours water into containers
- Strings large beads
- Squeezes tongs
