Adaptive
Children 42-48 months generally are able to do the following:
- Likes to select their own clothes and becomes more independent with dressing themselves
- Indicates toileting needs, wash hands using a towel to dry, eat with a spoon and sometimes a fork to feed themselves, and drink from an open cup
- Wipes their nose with a verbal reminder
- Begins to zip clothing
- Follows and remembers 3-4 safety rules across environments (e.g., never play with fire)
