Math
Children 48-60 months generally are able to do the following:
- Sorts by attribute and indicate the reason (these buttons are red)
- Uses and responds appropriately to positional words indicating location, direction, and distance
- Relates time to daily routines and schedule
- Knows a few ordinal numbers (first, last, etc.)
- Uses the same unit repeatedly to measure and has knowledge of standard measurement tools
- Counts to 20 or more
- Continues counting from a number between 2-10
- Counts 10- 20 objects
- Recognize and name up to 10 numbers
- Show awareness of measurement
- Recognizes what does not belong
