Adaptive
Children 8-12 months generally are able to do the following:
- Finger-feeds themselves
- Extends arm and leg to help when being dressed
- May hold a spoon when feeding
- Responds to warning (hot, no)
- Eats from spoon, held by an adult and drinks from sippy cup independently
- Uses self-calming strategies to help sleep
- Holds up arms and kicks or pulls off socks
